Recently, we received several requests to provide Sauvignon Blanc. After careful analysis of land availability, location and soil condition, we honored these requests by budding the 14½ acres of our Wilson Ranch Vineyard over to Sauvignon Blanc in the spring of 2008. The original 5C rootstock continues to be an excellent choice for its soil conditions. Clone 1 was selected to provide the flavor profiles expected by discerning consumers. The anticipation of the first fruit from this project has many eyes watching. Don’t hesitate to ask about availability for 2009 as this won't last long.
